Introducing Our New CEO Judy Koetter!

Mrs. Judy Koetter joined the family of Beacon Lighthouse in November, 1987, as the Business Manager. In August, 2008 she complete her Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude)  from Kaplan University/Davenport, IA (currently Purdue Global) and was promoted to CFO. Currently, serving as President/CEO Judy enjoys her Beacon Family and working to build a company set for growth and prosperity in the present and future.  Happiness is one think, but a purpose working with a great team at Beacon (which is definitely the greatest) is what truly brings joy every single day.

Introducing Our New CFO Valerie Petro!

Mrs. Valerie Petro has been an employee of Beacon Lighthouse, Inc. since May 2007. She began as an accounting clerk and has worked her way up to her current position as CFO. She graduated from Wayland Baptist University with honors in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. She loves working at Beacon Lighthouse, Inc. because the focus of the company is to give job opportunities to the blind and visually impaired, a community that might otherwise be overlooked in the traditional workforce. She looks forward to helping the company continue to grow and flourish in her new position.
